Just hop in the car and drive somewhere within 4 hours of home or hop on a tour bus to share the day trip with others. These 1-day road trips can be quite memorable. Some of my best trips have been to Cape Cod, the NH lakes and mountains, NYC sightseeing & Broadway shows, Baseball Hall of Fame, the Berkshires, to sporting events, concerts, beaches, amusement parks and museums. Surely, there are plenty of day trippers out there; why not share some of your trip highlights (and lowlights) and maybe make a few recommendations of your own?
